Hijab celebration for Non-Hijabis and Hijabis: Exclusive Sisters-Only Event so
Brothers tell your sisters and Sisters tell your friends because they wouldn't want to miss this!

**If you won't be able to make it don't miss the MYLI meeting there'll be a lecture about the hijab, Sunday, February 28th at 6:30 for both brothers and sisters.**

Get bored of wearing the same hijab style? Don't know where to get the latest fashion styles meanwhile being modest? Ever ask yourself why is it mandatory for Muslim women to wear the hijab? Need to buy hijabi clothing or hijabs? Well we got you covered

On Saturday, February 27th, 2010 MYLI presents the first annual "Threads of Faith" hijab celebration from 12pm-9:30pm. Enjoy the day with workshops including:
• Hijab tutorials: Hijab styles from casual to semi-formal
• Hijabify-ing Fashion: Hijab-friendly displays from stores including, Forever XXI, H&M, Wet Seal, Macys, and more
• Full Bridal Demo
• True Life: I’m a Hijabi: Stories from hijabi sisters of how and when it all began.
• Guest speaker
• And much more…

There will be booths for hijabi items, clothing, and Islamic books!

Halal dinner will be included. As for dessert there'll be a bake off. Prizes will be awarded for the best home-made halal desserts! So be creative!!
