For three years, the Foundation for Knowledge and Development has been a staple in the Astoria community. They have opened their physical doors on Steinway Avenue which have lead students to walk through the spiritual doors of learning classical Arabic, doors of Tafseer (commentary) of Al- Qur’an, doors of Usul-Hadeeth, doors of Fiqh and Usul ul-Fiqh, the doors of the Seerah of the Khulafah Rahshideen, and many other elements that make up the sciences within Al-Islam. Students and fellows of the Foundation for Knowledge and Development, by the Grace and Permission of Allah have been given the opportunity to seek and travel to these different stations within the sacred learning. Consequently, their journey for greater knowledge and development has been a great opportunity to journey even closer to Allah. The Foundation is now offering the opportunity to transcend the classical texts and its authors and commentarians and actually travel to the lands of this sacred knowledge. The Foundation for Knowledge and Development will do this through its first Seerah Tour 2009.
