The Tri-State Muslim Newspaper, the only newspaper by, for and about Muslim in the tri-state area – NY, NJ, CT & PA.  We launched in June 2007.  We print and distribute 20,000 every two weeks to more than 500 locations in NY, NJ, CT and PA.  The newspaper focuses on the news, issues, views and stories of the Muslims in the Tri-State area ONLY.   As you know NYC and its environs is one of the largest and richest cities in the world with more than 1.30 million Muslims or 20% of the US national Muslim population with a spending power of over $40 Bln – the Tri-State Muslim provides great networking and advertising opportunities for businesses and organizations.

While we feel our content is just right, we believe that distribution is the key for sustainability – both for us and our advertisers.  Therefore we have embarked on a three prong approach to our distribution

1) Locations – more than 500 locations including masjids, schools, restaurants, etc

2) Jumah distribution – each edition we select 20 masjids and hand distribute after jumah – so we do not depend on people picking up – we give them!

3) Event – we attend most Muslim public gathering in NY, NJ, CT & PA such as fairs, sports, lectures, workshops etc and distribute while promoting the newspaper
